Elon Musk, Earth’s Meme Lord, and now self titled as the TechnoKing of Tesla, is no stranger to nifty marketing strategies, and has just released his own NFT for sale. Though he also changed his mind on selling his new NFT shortly afterwards.
March 15, 2021 Elon tweeted his new techno song as a NFT, which is a song about NFTs.
Tesla recently bought Bitcoin, adding it to their balance sheets, as Elon has come forward as a supporter of the crypto space, including Dogecoin.
Although, Elon makes claims to appreciate Doge, he purchased Bitcoin for Tesla, hinting that as much as he enjoys the meme coin that started out as a joke. He is a stronger believer in using Bitcoin as a store of value for Tesla as the US dollar is printed into oblivion, further increasing inflation, and further reducing the value of the US dollar.
In a previous tweet Elon mentioned his concerns for the few Dogecoin holders who own the vast majority of the cryptocurrency, asking them to sell their holdings so their influence isn’t such a negative, as crypto typically points towards their decentralization as a major selling point, not present when such a small number of holders have the vast majority of coins.
